Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that Vidya Bharati Sanstha is making a specific contribution in promoting Indian culture and tradition. He urged the students to play their important role in building the pride of the nation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai today reached to inaugurate the newly constructed Saraswati Mahavidyalaya building at Saraswati Shishu Mandir complex, Koni, Bilaspur. On this occasion, in a grand felicitation ceremony organized by Vidya Bharati, 24 meritorious students selected from Saraswati schools of 33 districts of the state and students who performed excellently in various cultural activities and festivals were honored.
The program was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao. Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, Higher Education Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma and School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav were present as special guests. On this occasion, Bilha MLA Shri Dharamlal Kaushik and Takhatpur MLA Shri Dharmjeet Singh also specially participated.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai along with all the guests inaugurated the newly constructed college building in Saraswati School complex, Koni by performing rituals. After that, in the felicitation ceremony organized in the Lakhiram Sabha Bhawan located in the Saraswati School complex, the Chief Minister, while extending his best wishes for Shardiya Navratri, said that meritorious students are increasing the pride of the state with their hard work, discipline and values. This new building of the school is a symbol of the expansion of education and knowledge, which will give a new direction to the society.
He said that Saraswati Mahavidyalaya has signed MOUs with Guru Ghasidas University and ISRO, Bangalore, which will provide more opportunities to the students in higher education, research and technical fields. Along with this, a study center of Pt. Sundarlal Sharma University will also be started here. The Chief Minister said that the state government is giving top priority to education. Under the National Education Policy, facilities like education in local language, skill training, high-tech library, robotics and artificial intelligence are being made available to the students. He urged the students to contribute to the construction of society and the nation with determination and hard work.
Special guest Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that Vidya Bharati is working to impart values along with education. He appreciated the efforts being made by the organization to preserve the knowledge tradition and Indian culture.
Provincial Organization Minister of Vidya Bharati, Shri Dev Narayan, gave information about the principles, ideology and working system of the organization. He informed that Saraswati Sansthan has so far established three colleges in Chhattisgarh and seven projects are running. More than 1,100 schools are functioning under Gram Bharati. Through these institutions, Indian culture and tradition are being conveyed to the new generation, which is producing capable students dedicated to the nation.
In the program, the young children captivated everyone’s hearts by giving attractive cultural performances.
On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Mayor Smt. Puja Vidhani, KREDA President Shri Bhupendra Savanni, President of Saraswati Shiksha Sansthan Chhattisgarh Shri Ram Bharosa Soni, President of Saraswati Gram Shiksha Samiti Shri Ratan Chandrakar, President of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Koni Shri Muneshwar Kaushik, Secretary of Saraswati Gram Shiksha Samiti Shri Santosh Tiwari, Shri Brijendra Shukla, Shri Purnanandan Kashyap, Shri Rampal, Shri Sujit Mitra, Shri Sudama Ram Sahu, Province Head Smt. Divya Chandel, Directors, Principals / Acharyas and a large number of students and distinguished citizens were present.
