Hero MotoCorp, one of the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturers, has officially launched its Xoom 160 scooter across India. Initially showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show earlier this year, the scooter has garnered attention for its striking design and performance promises. This is the company’s first maxi-style scooter and currently serves as its flagship model. The scooter is poised to compete with models like the TVS Ntorq 150 in the market.
The Xoom 160 is designed for both everyday needs and adventure riding. Its elevated riding position, large 14-inch alloy wheels, block-pattern tires, and muscular design contribute to a strong road presence.
The company states that the scooter is designed not only for smooth city rides but also to handle rough terrains. This makes it a versatile option for riders who expect more from their two-wheelers. The scooter will soon be available at all Hero Premia dealerships across India and can also be booked online. The ex-showroom price in India is approximately ₹1.49 lakh. However, the price is expected to decrease after the implementation of GST 2.0.
