In anticipation of the upcoming festive season, Kawasaki is rolling out substantial discounts and rebates across a range of its motorcycle models. Starting from September 22nd, customers can take advantage of attractive offers, with savings of up to Rs 1.5 lakh available on the Versys lineup. These discounts will be applicable to models across various engine displacements, including the 300cc, 650cc, 1000cc, and 1100cc segments.
This promotion coincides with the implementation of revised GST rates by the Indian government on September 22nd, which will result in price increases. The new policy imposes a 40% GST on motorcycles exceeding 350cc, a rise from the previous 28%. Kawasaki appears to be aiming to clear existing inventory by offering appealing incentives to buyers.
The Ninja lineup, synonymous with Kawasaki, is also included in the discounts. The litre-class ZX-10R model is available with discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, dependent on the selected color variant. Without the discount, the current ex-showroom price of the bike is Rs 18.5 lakh.
In addition to the ZX-10R, the Ninja 1000SX is available at Rs 13.49 lakh, with the company offering approximately Rs 1 lakh off the model as part of the festive promotions. The Versys adventure tourer models are also benefiting from attractive reductions: the Versys 650 receives a Rs 20,000 cashback, with an original ex-showroom price of Rs 7.93 lakh; the Versys 300 offers a Rs 25,000 cashback, priced at around Rs 3.8 lakh ex-showroom; and the Versys 1100, the largest in the lineup, sees the most significant discount, available at Rs 1.1 lakh off its Rs 12.9 lakh ex-showroom price for September 2025. The Versys 1100 is equipped with features like cruise control and traction control.
