Bajaj Auto, one of the world’s largest two-wheeler companies, has announced price reductions for its vehicles in India before the implementation of GST 2.0. Consequently, the company’s vehicles will now be cheaper by ₹20,000 to ₹24,000. The reduced prices will apply to Bajaj and KTM vehicles, as KTM is a subsidiary of Bajaj. Customers will be able to avail of the new, lower prices starting September 22, the same day the new GST rates will come into effect across the country.
The government’s decision aims to make it easier for millions of families and small businesses to purchase vehicles, as they depend on reliable and affordable transportation. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Limited, stated that the government’s decision to reduce GST on two-wheelers and three-wheelers is a bold move that will boost demand and strengthen the industry. Prices of their vehicles will become even more affordable as the festive season begins.
