Ahead of the Apple Awe Dropping Event 2025, where the iPhone 17 Series is slated for launch, details have emerged about the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apart from design changes and camera module updates, the company is preparing to introduce a new feature for the first time to boost the performance of the Pro models.
To enhance thermal management and boost performance, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max may incorporate a vapor cooling chamber for the first time. This new feature might help cool down the phone during use. While cooling chamber features have been available on flagship Android smartphones for years, this would be the first instance of its inclusion in an iPhone.
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the iPhone 16 Pro is already one of the company’s best-performing devices, and the inclusion of a cooling chamber will further enhance performance. Furthermore, the A19 Pro chipset may also be used for improved speed and multitasking. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to have camera upgrades, with a new 48-megapixel lens possibly being included.
According to JP Morgan, the price of the iPhone 17 Pro in the US is expected to increase by $100. The phone may be launched at $1099 (approximately 96,895 rupees) instead of $999. In the Indian market, the price of this phone is expected to be around 130,000 rupees. The starting price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to be 144,900 rupees.
