Modi acknowledged the progress made in various aspects of the relationship, including maintaining peace on the border following disengagements. He also mentioned the resumption of the Kailash Mansoravar Yatra and the beginning of direct flight connectivity between the two countries. An agreement on border management was also confirmed to have been reached between the two nations.
