Police in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, have apprehended a man who presented himself as a motivational speaker on YouTube, dispensing advice on leading a crime-free life. However, he was secretly leading a double life, engaging in criminal activities under the cover of darkness. The individual, identified as Manoj Singh, ran a YouTube channel called ‘Change Your Life,’ where he preached about avoiding crime. Ironically, he was caught for his involvement in numerous thefts. Authorities confirmed that Singh, a resident of Cuttack, was arrested from Khandagiri Badi. He was known online as a self-help guru, posting videos on his channel, ‘Change Your Life,’ on how to live a life free from crime and adhere to principles of good conduct. Recovered items include 200 grams of gold jewelry and 1 lakh rupees in cash. He was under police surveillance for a week and faces charges in over ten cases. The arrest followed an investigation into a theft at Khandagiri Badi, and police advise the public to be cautious and skeptical of online personalities.
