Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha strongly condemned the use of offensive language against the Prime Minister during an event organized by the Congress in Darbhanga. He stated that the disgraceful incident was an insult not only to an individual but to the Prime Minister of the country. This constitutes a violation of the constitutional system and democratic dignity of the nation. He accused the opposition of trying to limit politics to the linguistic violence of a ‘troll army.’ He asserted that the people of Bihar and the entire nation would not tolerate this chaotic behavior.
Sinha further commented that this event exemplifies the conduct and character of the Congress and its allies. He accused them of turning the republic into a system of insults while in power. Their leaders have consistently demeaned and insulted individuals from other parties and even those outside their own families. He cited an instance where Rahul Gandhi allegedly offered biscuits to senior party leaders during meetings.
Dr. Santosh Suman, National President of HAM (Secular) and a minister in the Bihar government, stated that Rahul Gandhi and the opposition are using abusive and inappropriate language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi out of frustration. Suman added that the entire opposition, including the RJD-Congress, has become frustrated. He pointed out the unfortunate incident in Muzaffarpur where Rahul Gandhi disregarded the decorum expected of the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, using harsh language towards the Prime Minister. The use of offensive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the stage of Mo. Naushad, a prospective candidate from Bithouli, reflects the desperation of the opposition. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the entire opposition have lost their mental balance in their pursuit of power.
JDU spokesperson Dr. Nihora Prasad Yadav stated that the true purpose of power is development, public welfare, and improving the living standards of the underprivileged. He highlighted that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has fulfilled this in its true sense over the past 20 years. As a result, numerous schemes and projects are being successfully implemented in Bihar for the development of the underprivileged, backward classes, Dalits, and minorities. He emphasized that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has never allowed power to be used for personal gain or family interests, instead focusing on areas like education, health, roads, electricity, industry, and social justice to bring Bihar to new heights. From the education of girls to helping farmers, creating employment opportunities for youth, and improving the living standards of the poor, every initiative reflects the proper use of power. He contrasted this with the actions of Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, who, he claimed, have used power solely for personal and familial benefits. He accused them of a history marked by corruption and scams. Yadav asserted that the public knows whose hands power is safe in. He highlighted the JDU government’s efforts to uplift every section of society, in contrast to the opposition’s mere promises.
JDU State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha, while addressing the NDA workers’ conference held in Barari assembly, cited the historical achievements of the past 20 years and urged the workers to unite and dedicate themselves to ensure that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is re-elected in the upcoming assembly elections. Kushwaha criticized the opposition, stating that the two young leaders who went on a political tour were seen enjoying bullet rides on the shiny roads of Seemanchal. He said that these were the same roads that were once infamous for potholes and poor conditions, a change that is due to the good governance and development policies of Nitish Kumar. He also mentioned that there was a time when people were afraid to buy bullets.
The State President asserted that over the past two decades, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, by implementing the concept of development with justice, has brought the light of development to the last person in society. He emphasized that today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar is progressing at double the speed. He said that this is a golden opportunity for the people of the state, which will realize the dreams of a developed Bihar in the future. He targeted the Leader of the Opposition, stating that the person who is criticizing the policies and vision of Nitish Kumar, which have been appreciated by the whole country and the world, is the one who has failed in both studies and cricket. He added that the public would never fall for the misleading words of such deceptive people.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, while on a voter’s rights yatra, condemned both the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal for the objectionable remarks made against the Prime Minister, demanding apologies from both parties from the people of Bihar and the country. He asserted that the people of Bihar would not tolerate such offensive comments against the world’s most popular Prime Minister from the stage of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. Nityanand Rai, while targeting the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, said that he is not fit to be the Leader of the Opposition because the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi have not apologized for the objectionable comments made against the Prime Minister from the stage, which shows that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are playing with the respect of the popular Prime Minister of the country in the name of voter’s rights yatra. He also stated that the people of the opposition have turned the voter’s rights yatra into a platform for insults.
Nityanand Rai stated that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are carrying a copy of the constitution in their pockets these days, but they have made a mockery of the constitution. He questioned whether Rahul Gandhi is unaware that the post of Prime Minister is a constitutional post and that the Prime Minister belongs to the entire country, not just a particular party, and that the people of the country will respond to the kind of comments being made against the Prime Minister despite knowing this.
JDU National Spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad stated that the second phase of the NDA workers’ conferences has begun. This phase will continue until August 30, during which worker conferences will be held in approximately 80 assembly constituencies. After this, conferences will be held in 42 more assembly constituencies between September 3 and September 8. In this way, conferences will be completed in a total of 122 assembly constituencies by September 8, meaning half of Bihar will witness the unity and strength of the NDA. He added that in the first phase of district-level conferences, the state presidents of all constituent parties had unanimously appealed to the people. Now, a team of prominent leaders and workers at the assembly level is strengthening the organization from village to village and panchayat to panchayat. This coordination and strength are unsettling the opposition. The unprecedented energy seen in the workers’ conferences clearly reflects the NDA’s capacity and confidence to achieve the target of 225 seats. He claimed that the opposition’s so-called vote yatra has been limited to slogans, while the public is witnessing and experiencing the magic of Nitish Kumar’s achievements.
