A couple in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, found themselves in a difficult situation after an incident at a local mall. The pair, visiting the mall, were reportedly engaged in inappropriate behavior in a restroom. Mall employees intervened, leading to a confrontation with the boyfriend. The incident resulted in the involvement of the police, who were called to the scene. The couple, residents of the Sherpur area in the Sadar police station jurisdiction, were taken to the police station. The boyfriend works at a mall on the Aghoria Bazaar-Ramdayalu Road, and his girlfriend is a 12th-grade student. They had gone to the market to buy books before visiting the mall.
The boyfriend claimed that his girlfriend experienced stomach pain while at the mall, prompting her to enter the washroom. He followed her inside due to her distress. However, mall staff alleged they were engaged in indecent acts and confronted them. The police, after questioning the couple, learned they have known each other for eight years and live in the same village, just half a kilometer apart. The mall staff maintained their accusation of inappropriate behavior in the washroom. The police were called to the scene and the couple was taken to the police station. After informing their families, they were released on a personal recognizance bond, with a warning against repeating such actions.
