The Chhattisgarh Pavilion became a center of attraction on the opening day of the World Expo 2025 held in Osaka, Japan. More than 22,000 visitors experienced the unique glimpses of Chhattisgarh’s heritage, industry, and tourism. Chhattisgarh is actively participating under the Indian Pavilion from August 24 to 30, 2025, at the invitation of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) of the Government of India. The grand pavilion was inaugurated today. The natural landmark of Chhattisgarh, the Chitrakote Falls, also grabbed everyone’s attention. Due to being the widest waterfall in India, it is called the Niagara of India.
The pavilion is designed to provide visitors with a vibrant experience. The cultural richness, industrial strength, and tourism potential of Chhattisgarh are beautifully woven into the pavilion. It introduces the global audience to Chhattisgarh’s development journey and future possibilities. Naya Raipur, the country’s first Greenfield smart city, designed for investment and industrial progress, has been a special center of attraction here.
