A dark reality hidden within the haze of faith and superstition has brought shame to Mathura. A woman, desperate for a child, was subjected to a heinous act under the guise of tantric rituals, a tale that chills the soul. This is not merely a case of sexual assault but evidence of the cruelty masked by faith, a cruelty that has festered in society for centuries.
A woman from Agra, married for eight years, was unable to experience the joy of motherhood. This desperation led her to Tantric Mustaq Ali, residing in the Naujheel area of Mathura. Little did she know that the baba she trusted would exploit her faith.
This woman, seeking the blessings of a child, was lured into a room by Mustaq Ali. Incense smoke filled the air, causing her to lose her voice. During this, the accused assaulted her. When the victim attempted to resist, she and her family were threatened with death.
Having succumbed to this web of superstition, the woman initially lost hope. However, she later mustered courage and filed a complaint at the SSP office. The police promptly took action, registering a case against Mustaq Ali under Section 63 (sexual assault) of the Indian Penal Code and for threatening to kill.
The accused is currently at large, and multiple police teams are conducting raids at potential hideouts to find him. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the extent to which superstition can be harmful in society.
Local residents are outraged by the incident. They are demanding strict action against such fraudulent babas who exploit people’s vulnerabilities, destroying their lives. This event is a warning to us all that we must break the chains of superstition in our society so that no one else falls into such a horrific trap.
