TVS, known for its sporty aesthetics in the 125cc scooter segment, is expanding into the 150cc category. This move is signaled by the teaser of the new Ntorq 150, following sightings of a test model. The company aims to replicate its success in the 125cc class by competing with established models like Yamaha’s Aerox 155 and Aprilia’s SR175, along with the upcoming Hero Xoom 160. The new scooter features a quad-projector LED headlight setup and design elements similar to the existing Ntorq. Rumors suggest the Ntorq 150 will generate around 12 BHP of peak power and 13 N·m of torque, coupled with a CVT gearbox, promising enhanced acceleration and a deeper exhaust note. Equipped with disc brakes and a 5-inch TFT instrument screen, the scooter aims to offer a premium experience.
