In Janjgir-Champa, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars have commenced an indefinite strike to address their 17-point demands. The strike is significantly impacting the district. Various revenue-related court cases, property registrations, issuance of income, caste, and domicile certificates, farmer registrations, and the operation of the Bhuiyan portal are being affected. Parties involved in these processes are facing delays and inconveniences. Lawyers are also experiencing financial losses due to the disruption. Previously, a one-day strike and demonstration were held on July 28th at the district headquarters in Janjgir. Following this, Tehsildars across the state held a demonstration in Raipur, but their demands were not met, leading to the commencement of the indefinite strike on July 30th. Prolonged strike action could lead to increased difficulties for the public.
