A devastating incident has shaken the residents of Delhi. A man is alleged to have murdered his 10-year-old son in the Narela area of Delhi. The tragic event reportedly occurred on Tuesday, as detailed in a complaint filed by the child’s mother. She had been living separately from the father, the alleged perpetrator, due to a previous disagreement. The accused reportedly killed his young son and subsequently informed his wife about the crime.
The boy was discovered dead with neck injuries in Narela, Delhi. The child’s mother, Komal, stated that her husband confessed to killing their son. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Narela Police Station. Police are actively conducting raids in an attempt to arrest the accused, who is currently at large.
The police further stated that an FIR is being filed under the appropriate sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and efforts are underway to apprehend the fugitive father.
According to the police report, “On 29/07/2025, information regarding the recovery of the dead body of a 10-year-old child with visible injury marks on the neck was received at PS Narela. The complainant, Smt. Komal, wife of Narender, resident of Khasra No. 39/17, Om Vihar Colony, Bankner, Narela, Delhi, stated that due to a dispute with her husband, she had been residing separately along with her two children. On the same day (29.07.2025), her younger son ‘V’, aged 10, had gone to school but did not return. Later, her husband Narender informed her that he had killed ‘V’.”
In a separate incident in the same area earlier in July, two individuals suspected in a murder case sustained injuries in an encounter with the Delhi Police’s Special Cell in Narela and were subsequently hospitalized. Police reported, “The accused were asked to surrender, but they opened fire on the police party.”
The Special Cell’s Northern Range had received intelligence regarding the suspects’ presence in Delhi, which led to a trap being set in the Narela area.
