Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms caused widespread flooding across Delhi on Tuesday, severely impacting traffic and daily activities. Connaught Place (CP), a major commercial hub, received over 100.2 mm of rain in just two hours, leading to significant waterlogging. Videos circulated online showed streets inundated, with vehicles struggling to navigate the flooded roads. The adverse weather conditions triggered traffic snarls and hampered the movement of commuters, especially those using two-wheelers. The situation extended beyond CP, with other areas of Delhi, including Kamla Nagar Market, also experiencing severe flooding. Delhi Police issued advisories, cautioning commuters about waterlogged routes and advising on alternative paths to mitigate the traffic chaos.
