Actress and model Mannara Chopra is mourning the loss of her father, Raman Rai Handa, who passed away on June 16, 2025, in Mumbai. The funeral took place on June 18th. A prayer ceremony was held on June 19th at a Gurudwara, attended by close friends and family. Among those offering support were Bigg Boss contestants Abhishek Kumar, Sara Arfeen Khan, and Khanzaadi, who were seen at the Gurudwara, quietly offering their condolences. Mannara had previously shared the sad news on Instagram, writing of her father’s passing and his role as a pillar of strength for the family. Following the news, Mannara returned to Mumbai with her sister Mitali, visibly upset. Cousins Priyanka Chopra and Meera Chopra also expressed their grief. Meera Chopra shared her reaction to the news, expressing her sorrow at the loss and highlighting the close bond Mannara shared with her father. Raman Rai Handa, a lawyer at the Delhi High Court, is survived by his wife, Kamini Chopra Handa, and daughters Mannara and Mitali. He had been residing in Mumbai with his family during his final days. Both the Handa and Chopra families share a close relationship, often seen together during family events.
