Chirag Paswan has announced his intention to contest the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, stating he will run in all 243 seats. Speaking at a public gathering in Ara, Paswan emphasized his commitment to strengthening the NDA alliance through his participation. He framed his decision as one made for the people of Bihar, soliciting their input on whether he should contest and from which constituency. Paswan also criticized the RJD and Congress, holding them accountable for the ‘jungle raj’ era, and accused Rahul Gandhi of already conceding defeat by criticizing the Election Commission. He clarified that his focus is not on the Chief Minister’s chair but on bolstering the NDA’s performance.
