Chhattisgarh has got the first position in the solo playing classical cadre of the national level competition of the online arts festival organized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. Vivek Dewangan, a student of class XII of Indian Public School Raigad, a participant of Chhattisgarh State, has made the state proud by securing first position in the solo playing classical cadre. State Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, School Education Minister Dr. Premasay Singh Tekam has congratulated and congratulated student Vivek Dewangan on this achievement.
The sixth edition of the national level competition of the online arts festival was organized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi from 11 January to 22 January by setting up a studio in the auditorium of the Department of Culture. Selected students from the state level participated in this competition. The result of the online arts festival was announced today by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, NCERT. This year the competition will be held in nine genres- (solo singing (classical music), (traditional folk music), solo music (classical music), (traditional folk music), solo dance (classical dance), (folk dance), drashtala (bi- Dimensional), (three-dimensional) and local toys and games) were organized in the boys and girls category.
576 participants from 33 states, union territories, Navodaya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Kendriya Vidyalaya Samiti participated in the National Online Arts Festival competition. Jitendra Shukla, Managing Director of Holistic Education has also congratulated the student. He informed that in the last years too, students of the state have been receiving prizes in the national competition of arts festival.
