Industries Minister Shri Kavasi Lakhma attended the one day workshop ‘Udyam Samagam’ organized at district level in Dhamtari today. On this occasion, he said that the new industrial policy of the Government of Chhattisgarh will boost the industry in the state and provide better employment opportunities to the youth. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, new work opportunities are being made by preparing an action plan based on the demand of time. The general manager informed that land has been acquired in Deori of Dhamtari block, Gattasilli in Nagari and Tendubhatha in Magarlod by identifying the land for establishment of foodpark in each development block of the district, while the mega food park in Kurud is already established. . He also informed that in December 2020, 32 entrepreneurs were added to entrepreneurship after training, which is the highest in the state. The General Manager informed about the approval of the budget for the establishment of Rajiv Gandhi Forest Produce Processing Park in village Shyamatrai. Senior guests also expressed their views at the workshop. On this occasion, Mayor Mr. Vijay Dewangan, Collector Mr. Jayaprakash Maurya, District Panchayat President Mrs. Kanti Sonwani, Vice President Mr. Neeshu Chandrakar, former MLA Dhamtari Mr. Gurumukh Singh Hora, Kurud Mr. Lekharam Sahu and senior citizens Mr. Sharad Lohana, Mr. Mohan Lalwani and many more People related to the industry were present in the meeting.
