Special campaign to identify TB patients will be started from January 15

To make TB (decay) free Chhattisgarh, a TB patient search campaign will be conducted in Rajnandgaon district from January 15 to 31. The state government is determined to make Chhattisgarh TB-free by 2023. Under this campaign, pre-TB patients and patients with symptoms of TB will be surveyed from village to village. During this time, the Health Department team will appeal to the people not to hide this disease but to get it treated. TB disease can be completely cured by treatment.

Under the campaign, the corona will be examined along with its mucus in case someone is found to have TB symptoms. Also, efforts will be made to make people aware by taking precautions to control TB disease. The campaign will be run under the leadership of DTO Dr. Alpana Lunia. Prior to this, several necessary guidelines have been given by the State TB Officer in connection with the TB patient search campaign in the video conference. DTO Dr Alpana Lunia informed that various efforts will be made in the TB Patient Search Campaign to prevent disease and provide relief to people. In this campaign, the duties of Anganwadi worker, Mitannin, RMA and National Tuberculosis Eradication Program (NTEP) employee will be imposed. 100% TB patients will be prepared by preparing an action plan to run TB patient search campaign in the entire district. In case of suspected TB patients, a sputum test and a CB NOT test will be done using free X-ray examination, sample collection and transportation mechanisms.
