Generally, people do credit card shopping, recharge and bill payment, rail and flight ticket booking, online payment etc. Do you know that you can also pay house rent through credit card. It is usually not possible to rent a credit card because your landlord does not use a payment gateway like a merchant. But in the market today, there are many mobile applications like Cred, No Broker, Pejap, Red Giraffe, through which you can give your rent with credit card. Now the country’s largest e-wallet company, Paytm has also started the facility of giving rent through credit card. Till now, Paytm had the facility of rent payment only through UPI, Debit Card and NetBanking.
However, an additional charge of 2 per cent is also required to be paid on rent payment through credit card through Paytm app. But you also get cashback or reward points. For example, on a rental payment of Rs 10,000, you will have to pay Rs 10,200. However, there is no extra charge to be paid on rent payment through UPI, Debit Card and NetBanking.
