Hearing has been completed in the Supreme Court on petitions filed against the Waqf Amendment Act, 2025 (WAQF Amendment Bill, 2025). The apex court has now reserved its verdict in the case. Let me tell you that in the case, arguments were presented by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on behalf of the government and senior advocate Kapil Sibal on behalf of the petitioner side. The court can now issue its decision in the case anytime.
