CG Morning News: Tricolor journey will be taken out across the state today. This yatra will be organized in all gram panchayats of the state. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will join the tricolor journey in Jashpur. Along with him, Deputy CM, Minister, MP, MLA, District and District Panchayat President, Member, Panchayat Representative and other public representatives will also participate in the yatra.
Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will attend the public demonstration program in Bilaspur this morning. After this, Mungeli and Bilaspur districts will participate in different programs.
Congress’s Constitution Bachao Rally will start from tomorrow
The Congress’ Constitution Bachao Rally “will begin tomorrow. The state level rally will be organized at 3 pm in Janjgir-Champa. Congress state in -charge Sachin Pilot will be involved in this program. Senior leaders and workers of the state Congress will also be present in the program.
Minister Lakhanlal will do Bhumi Pujan for development works worth 68.30 lakh in Korba
Commerce and Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan will perform Bhoomipujan of development works worth Rs 68.30 lakh in Korba on 17 May. The program will be held at 3:20 pm in Sanjay Nagar, ward number 11. After Bhumi Pujan, Minister Dewangan will also participate in the tricolor journey. These works include bicycle stand, pandal, Muktidham, platform, toilet repair, drain-CC Road, Vikas Sadan and RCC Nala. Korba Mayor Sanju Devi Rajput will also be present in the program.
Additional AC-3 economy coaches will be installed in 2 express trains
One additional AC-3 economy coach is being permanently added to two express trains of South East Central Railway. This will increase the facility of getting confirmed berths to passengers. According to the Lave Administration, this coach will be installed from Durg on May 20 and Ambikapur from May 21 in Durg-Ambikapur Express (18241/18242). This facility will be applicable from both sides from May 21, 2025, in Ambikapur-Shadol Express (18756/18755).
Weather update of Chhattisgarh
The weather patterns are changing in Chhattisgarh. After the heat and humidity on Friday, it rained at night, due to which people have got mild relief. Even today, the Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms, strong winds (60 kmph speed) and rain in many areas. There is a possibility of continuing strong winds and light to moderate rainfall in the state for the next 5 days. Also, there is no possibility of any change in the maximum temperature.
