MP Monsoon Update: A big update has come out regarding monsoon in Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many districts of the state. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in many districts. Due to Western Disturbance, pre-monsoon (MP Pre-Monsoon) became active in the state.
The weather department has issued an alert of thunderstorm and rain in 22 districts. There may be thunderstorm, rain and hailstorm. There is a possibility of lightning in Balaghat, Shahdol and Amarkantak of Anuppur. While hailstorm is expected due to thunderstorm at a speed of 80 km per hour.

Moderate thundershowers may occur in South Guna, South Ashoknagar, Bhimbetka of Raisen, Datia, Niwari with lightning. Light thundershowers may occur in Orchha, Seoni, Pench of Pandhurna, Singrauli, Bandhavgarh of Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Sehore, Bhopal, Khandwa, Agar, Shajapur, Betul, South Gwalior, East Shivpuri, Sanchi, Tikamgarh, West Sagar, Mandla, Sidhi, Rewa, Pachmarhi of Narmadapuram, Khajuraho of Chhatarpur with lightning.
Monsoon will be active in the state by June 23
According to IMD, the weather will also change in Chhindwara, Panna, Maihar and Damoh. The weather has changed since Monday and some cities like Rewa, Sidhi, Satna, Gwalior and 16 districts received good rainfall. So far, Bhopal has received the highest rainfall. The Meteorological Department says that monsoon activities can start from June 22. By June 23, monsoon will become active in the entire state. However, there is a heat wave alert in places like Chhatarpur, Niwari, Khajuraho and Chitrakoot.
