According to the information, on Tuesday night, a family from village Thema of Parswada tehsil was going to Mohgaon of Lamta by hired bus to pick up their bride daughter. Meanwhile, about 6 km before Lamta, the bus went out of control and fell into a ditch about 50 feet deep. However, the bus got stuck due to trees in the middle.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. With the help of people, everyone including the injured were rescued and taken to Lamta Hospital. There were more than 40 wedding guests in the bus. It is being told that the bus driver was drunk. Due to which he could not control the bus at the turn and the bus fell into the ditch.

More than two dozen baraatis were injured in this accident. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital in Lamta. Out of which 8 have been referred to the district hospital as their condition is critical. At present, the police is busy investigating the entire incident.
