Raipur. After the completion of elections in Chhattisgarh, veteran leaders of the state are leading the charge in neighboring state Odisha. State Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on Odisha tour today. CM Sai will address 3 public meetings. The Chief Minister will leave for Odisha from Raipur at around 10.15 am. Will address a public meeting at Bagdega in Sundergarh Lok Sabha constituency of Odisha at around 12 noon. After that CM Sai will return back to Raipur from Odisha at around 5.15 pm.
Visit program of Deputy CM Arun Sao
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao is continuously campaigning in the Lok Sabha constituencies of Odisha. Today is the third day of Deputy CM Sao’s visit to Odisha. Arun Saav will campaign in Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency today. Will attend Vijay Sankalp rally in Subanpur, Sambalpur. Will participate in local programs after the rally.
State Congress leaders will now take command in Haryana and Himachal
Congress leaders from Chhattisgarh will now campaign in Haryana and Himachal after Uttar Pradesh. PCC Chief Deepak Baij will soon visit Haryana. Deepak Baij will campaign in favor of Kumari Shailja on Sirsa seat. Leaders from Chhattisgarh will take charge of the campaign in Himachal also. Former CM Bhupesh Baghel is taking charge of Rae Bareli.
Preparations for counting of Lok Sabha elections intensified
The results of Lok Sabha elections will be declared on June 4. Preparations for counting of votes have intensified. Training of 1005 officers has been started for counting of votes. Officers will be given training across the state till May 28. Officers will be given training at the Circuit House in Raipur on 20th May. Master trainers are giving training to officers and employees.
It may rain at one or two places in the state today
There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at one or two places in Chhattisgarh. There are also signs of thunderstorm along with thunder at some places. There is a possibility of light cloudy weather in the capital Raipur. The maximum temperature in the state has been recorded at 43.8 degrees in Korba and the minimum temperature has been recorded at 21.2 degrees in Narayanpur. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of increase in the temperature of the state after May 19.
