IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 runs in the 54th match of IPL 2024. Surya played a brilliant century for Mumbai. He scored 102 unbeaten runs, while Tilak Verma contributed 37 runs. Marco Jensen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Pat Cummins got 1-1 wicket for SRH.

Batting first, Hyderabad scored 173 runs for 8 wickets. In reply, Mumbai Indians team achieved the target by losing 3 wickets. Mumbai Indians had a bad start. The team lost its first wicket on 26 runs. Ishan Kishan was dismissed by Marco Jensen. Ishaan was out after scoring 9 runs. After this, Rohit Sharma became the victim of Pat Cummins after scoring just 4 runs. Namandhir returned to the pavilion without opening the account. After this, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma took MI’s innings forward and led to a spectacular victory.

Hardik Pandya and Piyush Chawla took three wickets each

Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Hyderabad scored 173 runs for 8 wickets. Travis Head scored the highest 48 runs for SRH. Whereas Pat Cummins remained unbeaten after scoring 35 runs. For Mumbai, Hardik Pandya and Piyush Chawla took 3-3 wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah and Anshul Kamboj got 1-1 success. After losing the toss and coming to bat first, Hyderabad had a good start, but then Hyderabad got its first blow in the form of Abhishek Sharma at the score of 56 runs. Jasprit Bumrah sent him to the pavilion. After this, Anshul Kamboj gave the second blow to SRH at the score of 68 runs. Anshul Kamboj made Mayank Agarwal his victim. Mayank walked away after scoring 5 runs.

After this, Travis Head was dismissed by Piyush Chawla. Head was out after scoring 48 runs in 30 balls. Then Hardik Pandya showed Nitish Reddy the way to the pavilion.
