CG MORNING NEWS: Heat wave alert in Chhattisgarh, CM Sai will hold election meetings in three districts today, former CM Baghel will campaign vigorously in his area.

Raipur. Voting for the remaining 7 seats in Chhattisgarh is to be held on 7th May. BJP-Congress have put their full strength into the campaign. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s election campaign is continuing. Even today the Chief Minister will address four meetings. CM will attend public meetings organized in Bemetara, Manendragarh and Raipur districts and seek votes for BJP candidates.

Former CM Bhupesh Baghel’s public relations are also continuing. Baghel will be on a tour of Durg district today and will campaign in favor of Congress by doing public relations in more than 15 villages. Former CM Baghel will return to his residence Bhilai at 9 pm. Congress State President Deepak Baij will be on a tour of Balodabazar, Balrampur, Surajpur and Ambikapur districts today. Will address public meetings in Thargaon of Balodabazar and Ramnagar of Balrampur and seek votes for the Congress candidate. Will stay overnight at Baij Ambikapur.

The heat wave continues to wreak havoc in Chhattisgarh. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert within 48 hours. Heat wave may occur in Raigarh, Janjgir, Rajnandgaon and Kanker. The temperature is expected to increase by 2 to 3 degrees in the next 4 days. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of heat wave in Raipur in mid-May.
