Police raid on illegal weapons factory: 4 accused arrested, material for making weapons including 22 country-made pistols seized

Renu Aggarwal, Dhar. Police has busted an illegal arms factory in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. Police raided the spot and arrested four accused. Police have seized 22 country-made pistols of 12 bore and material for making weapons from the possession of the accused. The value of the seized goods has been estimated to be around Rs 3 lakh 10 thousand. At present, the police have registered a case against the accused and are interrogating them.

Actually, Gandhwani police station had received information that Amrit Singh along with his associates was manufacturing illegal weapons on the rooftop of the house in village Baria. Based on the information, police teams from different police stations took joint action and raided the spot and caught four accused red-handed. Police have seized 22 country-made pistols of 12 bore and a large quantity of material for making weapons from the possession of the accused.

According to the police, 28-year-old Amritsingh Chhabra, 31-year-old Nanusingh, 19-year-old Vikas Singh and 38-year-old Suraj Singh have been arrested. Police have registered a case against the accused under sections 182/24, 25(1)(a), 25(1-A), 25(1-AA) and have started further action.
