The first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections is on April 19 and the process of Congress workers leaving the party is still going on. From this it seems that the entire Congress party in the state will be empty till the last phase of elections. The latest case is from the capital Bhopal where Congress has once again suffered a political setback. Congress councilors including former mayor have joined BJP.
Former mayor Sunil Sood, Congress councilor Priyanka Mishra, Youth Congress state secretary Anil Mishra and former presidents Sanjay Sahu, Shamim Khan etc. have joined BJP. Everyone has joined BJP under the leadership of Suresh Pachauri. Bhopal Lok Sabha BJP candidate Alok Sharma, BJP District President Sumit Pachauri were also present in the joining program.
