Leopard reached villager’s house in search of prey, forest department team rescued

Mukesh Mehta, Budhni. There was a stir when a leopard suddenly entered the house of a villager in Budhni, Madhya Pradesh. People immediately informed the forest department about this, after which a team reached their house. After a lot of effort, the leopard was controlled and the forest department officials put it in a cage and took it to Bhopal. The matter pertains to Kishanpur village of Ladkui forest range of Budhni.

Actually, the Forest Department team had received information late in the night that a leopard had entered the house of a villager, Prahlad Singh. On receiving the information, forest department officials and forest personnel were deployed in Huye village who came to rescue the leopard. Today the team successfully rescued the female leopard, after which she was tranquilized, put in a cage and taken to Bhopal. During the leopard rescue, a crowd of villagers had gathered at the spot. There is a suspicion that the leopard had reached the village while wandering in search of prey or water.
