Will the Constitution change? A statement by a BJP MP has created an uproar, he talked about major amendments in the Constitution if he gets majority.

The statement of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Anant Kumar Hegde has created an uproar in political circles. He has said that if two-thirds majority is obtained, there will be some major changes in the Constitution. He has said that BJP needs two-third majority in both the houses of Parliament to amend the Constitution and correct the distortions done by Congress.

During a rally, the MP said that Congress has fundamentally distorted the Constitution. Especially such laws whose aim is to suppress the Hindu society. If all this has to change then we should have this much majority. If the people give us two-thirds majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, then we will bring changes in the Constitution.

Anant said that if Congress's numbers increase in the Rajya Sabha, then any constitutional amendment made by the BJP government will not be passed in the Parliament. Let us tell you that this is not the first time that Anant has given such a statement. Even before this, he had talked about constitutional amendment many times.
