Farmers are being paid only at the support price. No decision has been taken to purchase paddy for Rs 3100. When and how will farmers get Rs 3100?

Regarding the letter, Deepak Baij said that the state CM is writing a letter to Vishnudev Sai. Because it has been more than one and a half months since the paddy was purchased. The Chief Minister has been sworn in. The cabinet was formed yesterday. Approval has been given to give only 21 quintals. Approval for giving 31 quintals of paddy has not been given, due to which the farmer is upset. As soon as our government was formed, we started loan waiver of farmers and purchasing paddy at support price. We want that the State Congress Committee is demanding. The letter should go from Congress. Farmers are continuously committing suicide, farmers should not remain worried.

The process of paddy procurement in the state has started for more than one and a half months. Farmers are reaching the paddy procurement centers to sell their paddy but there is a dilemma among the farmers. Bharatiya Janata Party in its election promise has promised the farmers that it will give the price of paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal and its lump sum payment will be made immediately after selling the paddy by setting up separate counters in the Gram Panchayats of the procurement centres. In this regard, the government will No decision has been taken yet nor any instructions have been issued, due to which they are being paid only at the support price. Farmers are worried about when and how they will get Rs 3100.

Even in the supplementary budget presented in the Assembly of the State Government, there is no financial provision for purchasing paddy, this has further increased the worries of the farmers. With the swearing in of the cabinet members, the process of government formation has been completed. It is requested that a decision to make lump sum payment of Rs 3100 for the price of paddy should be implemented on priority basis.
