Mungeli: Summer Sports Training Camp concludes

Summer sports training camp was organized in the district from June 1 to June 21 as per the instructions of the state government. In which the players were given training in various sports. On the occasion of the 9th International Yoga Day, the event was concluded at the Model Agricultural Produce Market complex at the district headquarters and the players who performed well were also felicitated. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Mrs. Lekhani Sonu Chandrakar, Chairman of State Backward Class Commission Mr. Thaneshwar Sahu, Member of Chhattisgarh Scheduled Caste Authority Ms. Ratnavali Kaushal, Chairman of Municipal Mungeli Mr. Hemendra Goswami, Zila Panchayat Vice President Mr. Sanjit Banerjee, Chairman of Adarsh Agricultural Produce Market Committee Mr. Atma Singh Kshatriya, Collector Mr. Rahul Dev and other guests presented tracksuits and training certificates to the players who performed excellently. The car was awarded. T-shirts and certificates were also given to the trainers of various sports and boys and girls of the training center. A large number of people were present on the occasion.
A senior sports official said that under the summer sports training, cricket, football, taekwondo, volleyball, malkham sports at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium located in the district headquarters, volleyball at Swami Atmanand School at Daupara in the district headquarters, S.U.M.V. Archery in Padiain, Development Block Lormi’s S.U.M.V. Table Tennis in Dongria Boxing in Godkhamhi, Development Block Mungeli’s S.U.M.V. Sword fighting in Dashrangpur. Training in kabaddi game was given in Gidha. The training camp was concluded at the respective training centers at the local level and the training camp organized at the district headquarters was concluded today at the Model Agricultural Produce Market Complex.

In summer sports training, tracksuit and training certificates were given to 01-01 boys and 01-01 girls who excelled in various sports. In which Ansh Soni and Veda Singh Nishad in Karate, Prabhat Baghel and Poorva Khare in Fencing, Tushar Yadav and Khushboo Nishad in Kabaddi, Sujal Masih and Aarti Thakur in Volleyball, Ravi Sonwani and Monica Diwakar in Taekwondo, Sanchit Kerketta and Sheona Masih in Football, Sreesanth and Devki Yadav in Cricket, Dhanmantri Khande and Pooja Banjara in Malkham. Ritesh Sahu and Khileshwari Sahu in archery, Ankush and Nidhi in table tennis and Sanjay and Hansini in boxing.
