This is the reason why the number of collectors has also increased more than 4 times in these four years, in the year 2018-19 the number of collectors was 1.5 lakh, which has increased to 6 lakh today. During this, an amount of Rs 23 crore 50 lakh was paid to the collectors in the year 2019-20 for small forest produce collection remuneration. Similarly, in the year 2020-21, Rs 158 crore 65 lakh, in the year 2021-22 Rs 116 crore 79 lakh and in the year 2022-23 (in the case of January 2023) an amount of Rs 57 crore 50 lakh should be paid to the collectors.
