Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana is a very ambitious scheme of Women and Child Development Department. It is to be completed on February 21, 2023 under the Chief Minister’s Kanya Vivah Yojana in the district. Under the scheme, Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana has been implemented for mass marriage of girls. Under the scheme, the age of the girl should be above 18 years and the age of the groom should be above 21 years. The girl should be a member of a family living below the poverty line or having a ration card under the Chief Minister’s Food Scheme. The bride and groom should have first marriage only then they will be eligible for the scheme. The bride / groom or their family members who are eligible for marriage, contact the Anganwadi worker / supervisor of the nearest Anganwadi center and the Integrated Child Development Project office of the block, after receiving the application in the prescribed format, complete by 18 February 2023.
