Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh today distributed free plots of land to 25 thousand 412 homeless poor families in Singrauli district under the Mukhya Mantri Awasiya Bhu-Adhikar Yojana and Rs 135 crore 68 lakh was transferred to the accounts of 6 lakh 78 thousand 408 beneficiaries with a single click in Rewa division under the Mukhya Mantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana. Along with this, foundation was laid of the level crossing ROB on Bargawan-Baidhan road costing Rs 35 crore 7 lakh, Government Medical College building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 248 crore 27 lakh, Mining Engineering College to be constructed at a cost of Rs 60 crore 30 lakh and CM Rise School costing Rs 33 crore in Hirrahwah Baidhan village and Rs 31 crore 40 lakh in Chakaria.
Union Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh said that what he has witnessed in the programme for the welfare of the poor on the invitation of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is amazing. I had no idea of the crowd that I got to see here. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has received continuous blessings of the public. He works like a grassroot worker. As is our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, so is our Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. It is his nature to try to solve the problem. The welfare of the poor is the mantra for the Central and State Governments and it is also our commitment.
Union Defense Minister Shri Singh said that a very virtuous work has been done in Madhya Pradesh by allotting land free of cost to poor families for housing. He said that providing residential plots free of cost to more than 25 thousand families of powerhouse Singrauli district is a great job. Union Minister Shri Singh said that the students passing out from the Government Mining Engineering College of Singrauli will provide technical assistance not only in Singrauli, but also in the country and abroad. This is a great work done by the Shivraj government
Shri Singh said that by the year 2024, every poor family will have a roof over their head. Every family will start getting drinking water at home. Every family will start using gas cylinder for cooking. This is not a small thing. There is no scheme like Ayushman Bharat in the whole world. In this scheme, poor families are getting free treatment facility up to Rs.5 lakh. He said that what our government’s acion speak louder than its words. Prime Minister Shri Modi is sending Rs 6 thousand to the bank accounts of farmers every year. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is depositing additional Rs 4,000 to farmers’ accounts.
Union Defense Minister Shri Singh said that former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi used to say that his government sends 100 paise to the public from the center, but only 14 paise reaches the public, but now Prime Minister Shri Modi’s government sends Rs 100 to the public and the entire amount reaches the public. We have put an end to corruption. The Central Government is starting a medical college in every district in the country. Till now, additional 642 medical colleges have been completed in the country. AIIMS is also being started in every state.He said that the process of allocation of mines has been made transparent. Earlier, only 4-5 kilometers of roads were being constructed daily in the country, now 37 kilometers of roads are being constructed daily. He said that in the year 2014, 92 out of 100 mobiles were not made in India. Today 97 percent mobiles are being made by Indians in India. India is not behind even in car manufacturing. Leaving Japan behind, we have joined the three car manufacturing countries of the world. We are also second in steel manufacturing.
Union Defense Minister Shri Singh said that we are moving towards self-reliance in the defense sector. In the defense sector, our country used to import weapons and tanks etc., today this work is being done in India by Indians. We will also export defense material to other countries of the world. He said that India’s economy was ranked 10th in the world eight years back. Today our economy has reached the 5th position. By the year 2027, India will be at the third place and by the year 2047, India’s economy will be at the first place in the world.
Union Defense Minister Shri Singh said that India’s prestige and power has increased in the eyes of the world. With the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the war between Russia and Ukraine was stopped for a short while and thousand of children were evacuated from Ukraine. Other countries of the world could not do this work. They are questioning the bravery of Army jawans. As the Defense Minister, I am saying that the bravery of our soldiers in the border between India and China has made us proud. The bravery and valor of our Army has enhanced our position in the world. Today India is heard on the international platform.
Union Minister Shri Singh said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has always talked about goodwill and brotherhood. We are associated with politics for the development of the country. We wish to tell the opponents not to play with India’s pride, honour and glory. There will be no credibility crisis in Indian politics if BJP is there. Whoever casts an evil eye on the border, will be given a befitting reply. We are proud of our Army. People will give a befitting reply to those who talk without any basis
A developed nation is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a prosperous and developed nation is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Under the leadership of the Union Defence Minister, our Indian Army is ready to deal with every crisis. He says that we will not provoke anyone and if someone provokes us, we will not spare him. The Chief Minister said that it was due to India’s capability that during the crisis in Ukraine, 30 thousand of our children returned safely carrying the tricolour of India.
Singrauli will not be left behind in the race of development
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of Singrauli district. Singrauli will not lag behind in the race for development. This Urjadhani (powerhouse) will become the engine of development of Madhya Pradesh. Singrauli-Rewa-Jabalpur industrial corridor will also be built soon. CM Shri Chouhan said that along with the Medical College, the foundation stone of the Mining Engineering College is also being laid in Singrauli. Energy College will also be started along with Mining Engineering College, which will develop the skills of the local youths while also boosting the employment opportunities.
Campaign to improve the lives of the poor is going on
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a campaign is being run to improve the lives of the poor in the state. Along with ration, education, health, housing, employment, other facilities are also being made available to the poor. Today, more than 25 thousand poor houseless families of Singrauli district are being provided residential plots free of cost. Along with this, Rs. 135 crore 68 lakh has been transferred to the accounts of more than 6 lakh 78 thousand farmer beneficiaries of Rewa division.
No poor family will remain without a house on the soil of Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we have taken a resolution that no poor family will remain without a house on the soil of Madhya Pradesh. For this, a continuous campaign is going on in the state. The mega campaign has been launched under the Mukhya Mantri Awasiya Bhu-Adhikar Yojana to give free plots of land to all such poor families who do not have land to build houses. Against the target of construction of 38 lakh houses given to Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 34 lakh houses have been completed. The Chief Minister said that in rural areas as well as in urban areas, eligible people will be given houses by making residential plots or multi-storeys.
Madhya Pradesh excels in the implementation of many schemes of the Central Government
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he is happy that today Madhya Pradesh is at the top place in the implementation of various schemes of the Central Government and the needy poor have received the benefit of these schemes. All sections along with the government have played a pivotal role in this campaign to change the lives of the people. The Chief Minister said that all-round work is being done for Atma-Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Many schemes are being run to connect the youths with employment and self-employment. The process of recruitment of 1.25 lakh in government departments is in progress. Recently an investment of Rs. 15 lakh 42 thousand 505 crore has come in the GIS held in Indore. With this, 29 lakh employment opportunities will be created along with development
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that today’s programme being held in Singrauli is a ritual of service to the poor, which will continue in the entire state. More than 25,000 poor families of the district will be able to fulfill their dream of housing by getting the gift of a residential plot. At the time of the previous government, the poor were dependent on God, today we have given the poor the rights over water, forest and land along with housing. The Chief Minister said that the first priority of the state government is the welfare of the poor. Many schemes and programmes are being conducted for their welfare and benefits are being provided by reaching the homes of the poor. Along with free education to the children of poor and middle class families, the fee for higher education is also being paid by the state government. At present, the government has paid the fees for higher education of 2 lakh 50 thousand children. He informed that under the Ayushman Yojana, more than 3 crore Ayushman cards of eligible families are being made and treatment facilities of up to Rs. 5 lakh per family is being provided.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the portal will be re-opened for the farmers who have been deprived of registration for the purchase of paddy. A monthly amount of one thousand rupees will be given to the sisters of Baiga family of the district. The work on the Sidhi-Singrauli highway is progressing at a fast pace. Will get it completed within the time limit. Minister in-charge of the district Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, MP Smt. Riti Pathak, Rajya Sabha member Shri Ajay Pratap Singh, along with public representatives, MLAs and a large number of beneficiaries and citizens were present in the programme. After the programme, the Chief Minister reached among the citizens and listened to their problems and gave instructions to solve them.
