Entries have been invited for the Shaheed Veeranarayan Singh Memorial Tribal Folk Art Festival for the year 2022-23. According to the information received from the Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, the tribal dance troupes residing in the district can submit their entries till November 18 in the Tribal Development Department, Room No. 85 of the Collectorate. For this, dance groups will have to give complete details of the tribal folk art dance group along with the application, detailed information about the works/efforts made by them for awakening social consciousness among tribals and for social upliftment. Along with this, if any other award has been received, its information, if any report related to excellent work has been published, its details and one copy each will have to be presented. In relation to his work in the field of awakening social consciousness and social upliftment, it will be mandatory to attach a copy of any famous person or newspaper-magazines commenting on it.
