Collector Mr. P.S. Alma, in which he reviewed the weekly progress of retrofitting water supply scheme, single village scheme, solar based scheme and group water supply scheme. He instructed the Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Department to start all the non-starting schemes soon. In the meeting, after taking information about the sanctioned plan-wise and work-wise progress, he gave necessary instructions to the officers. In the meeting convened from 10.30 am in the collectorate hall today, the collector told that the work has not started yet in Dumarpali village of Magarlod development block and Bhalujhulan village of Kurud development block. Not done. On this, the Collector instructed SDM Kurud to take administrative action. Similarly, taking cognizance of the non-commencement of tank construction work in village Koliyari of Kurud, instructions were given to the officers to ensure necessary action. In the meeting, the collector gave instructions to the executive engineer to review all the water supply schemes on the basis of percentage of completion and submit the report at the earliest. During this, while giving information about the weekly progress of the schemes, Executive Engineer Mr. Shukla said that against the target of 260, 18 works have been completed and 242 works are in progress under the retrofitting water supply scheme. Similarly, out of 363 sanctioned works under the Single Village Water Supply Scheme, the works of 02 villages have been completed, 209 works are in progress and the work of inviting tenders for 82 schemes is under process. Giving information about solar based water supply scheme, it was informed that out of 80 schemes, 40 are complete and the remaining 40 are in progress. Similarly, about group based water supply scheme, it was told that out of 05 proposed schemes, Sankara group scheme and Ghathula scheme have been approved by the source finding committee while Rudri, Belargaon and Mohrenga group water supply schemes are under consideration before the government.
