The five-day Agri Carnival-2022, organized by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, was organized today in International Agriculture Madai, on the topic of Recognition of Testing and Testing in Awareness Meet by National Testing and Calibration Laboratory Accreditation Board (NABL), a Government of India recognized investigating agency. was organized. In this session, NABL CEO Shri N. Venkateshwaran along with agency directors Anuja Anand, Mallika Gope, Anita Rani explained the process of testing and testing on the basis of different standards to the representatives of various institutes, government and private laboratories and university researchers and students. The board members spoke on the basis of the process of testing, the scale of testing and testing in the lab and other parameters. Addressing the Awareness Meet, NABL CEO, Mr. Venkateswaran said that we are moving ahead with the objective of solving the health and nutritional issues that are amongst us, how to provide quality nutritious food to the people. Many items like rice, wheat, pulses have to go through several tests before going to the plate of the people, we need lab to know whether the food is safe or not, availability of test friendly facilities in the lab Whether it is or not, NABL gives accreditation to the lab taking into account all the facts of quality. After this, Director Anuja Anand, while giving information about the process of accreditation said that we work to support quality through testing. Director Mallika Gope said that we work with the objective of quality and 100% verification, so that the quality and technical capability of the Testing and Calibration laboratories can be provided assessment based on this. NABL Joint Director Anita Rani told about the working style of the agency and said that our objective is to promote testing of basic human needs, food and other essential useful items according to the prescribed standards. During the awareness meet, the NABL Board members also spoke at length about the agency’s world class testing system and validity of verification and also answered the questions of the delegates present in the session.
