Participants are doing excellent performance in Chhattisgarh Olympics

To encourage the traditional sports activities of Chhattisgarhia in rural areas, provide platform to the participants, increase awareness about sports and develop sportsmanship in them, Chhattisgarhia Olympic 2022-23 is organized by the state government under the guidance of Collector Dr. Jagdish Kumar Sonkar. It is also being done in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district. Chhattisgarhia Olympic Guide and Action Plan 14 types of sports included in Gilli Danda, Pittool, Sankhali, Langdi Run, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Rossaksi, Bati (Kancha), Billas, Fugdi, Gedi Race, Bhanwara, 100 Meter Run, Long Jump 06 From October 15 to October 15, 2022, the game is being organized in each of the Gram Panchayats at the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club level. In the past, the program was inaugurated by Mrs. Leela Prakash Mandavi, President, Janpad Panchayat Khairagarh in Gram Panchayat Akarjan. In the program, Mr. Murli Singh Verma, Vice President, District Panchayat Khairagarh, Mr. Ashok Kumar Saw, Chief Executive Officer in-charge, District Panchayat Khairagarh, Mr. Animesh Singh, District Coordinator Yuva Mitan Club, Mr. Baidnath Verma along with teachers and other employees/officers, of Gram Panchayat Akarjan. Sarpanch Shri Durgesh Sahu and Panchgan, members of Yuva Mitan Club and villagers were present. Detail information and necessary guidance were given by the Swachh Bharat Mission, the development block coordination. The program was started by playing the game Kho-Kho by the guests present. After that, age group wise, female and male category sports wise participants were registered and made sports. Similarly, for facilitating sports in all the 114 gram panchayats under the block, a program of different classes and sports was prepared to get more and more people to participate, as well as local officials / employees and teachers, members of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club. And the program was completed with the help of Panchayat officials. In which, in the flagship scheme of the Government of Chhattisgarh, excellent performance has been done by the women, men and youth of all age groups in all the Gram Panchayats by participating enthusiastically in these traditional games.
