Under the education incentive scheme run by the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Federation, proposals have been invited for the educational scholarship scheme for the year 2021-22 through all the primary minor forest produce cooperative societies. After receiving all the offers, the scholarship will be paid to the eligible students through online mode. Under the scheme, in the last three years, the Government of Chhattisgarh, through the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Association, provided scholarship worth Rs 20 crore 10 lakh 56 thousand 500 to more than 22 thousand meritorious students. It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Association is running a grant scheme for meritorious students, for meritorious students and for scholarship for vocational courses and for non-professional undergraduate courses. Two crore 71 lakh 53 thousand scholarships have been provided to 8493 meritorious students from the year 2018-19 to 2020-21. Similarly, in the last three years, 8898 meritorious students have been given scholarships worth Rs.14 crore 85 lakh 71 thousand 500. Apart from this, scholarship worth Rs. 2 crore 10 thousand has been provided to 3877 non-professional students. Similarly, Rs 53 lakh 22 thousand has been provided to 734 students for non-professional undergraduate courses. Thus, in the last three years, 20 crore 10 lakh 56 thousand 500 rupees have been provided by the state government to talented students under the education incentive scheme. In the year 2020-21, due to the absence of 10th examination due to corona epidemic, it was declared as zero year. Under the education incentive scheme for talented students, every year in each primary forest produce cooperative society area, 15 thousand rupees to the students who get more than 75 percent marks in class 10th and 75 percent in class 12th out of the children of tendu patta collecting family.
