Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of the state on Hindi Diwas on 14 September. He has said that Hindi is an easily accessible language. Due to the simplicity of Hindi, it has played an important role in tying the country together. The qualities of Hindi make it a culture above the status of a language. Today Hindi language has become the language of the people. Shri Baghel has said that the official language Hindi is a very rich and vibrant language, its nature is inclusive. Its script Devanagari is one of the oldest and scientific scripts in the world. It is a constantly flowing language. The vocabulary of Hindi has been enriched by Sanskrit on one side and words from many indigenous and foreign languages on the other. Shri Baghel has said that the famous writer Shri Bhartendu Harishchandra has said that “Nij language advancement is ahai, all progress is rooted” which means without the progress of mother tongue, progress of any society is not possible.
