Presenting Shriphal and Shawl to the families of martyrs in Naxal attack

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam honored the families of martyrs in the Naxal attack on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, 2022 by presenting them with shriphal and shawls. Sarita Kujur, daughter of Martyr Platoon Commander Mansidh Kujur village Bandarchua, Kunkuri, District Jashpur, was honored on the post of head constable posted in the Women’s Help Center Jarhi under police station Bhatgaon area. Martyr Mansidh Kujur who was martyred on the spot on 16 October 1998 due to a bomb blast during Naxalite search during posting at Bijapur Camp of Chhattisgarh Armed Forces 5th Battalion Jagdalpur. School Education Minister, Education Minister Dr. Tekam honored the family members of the martyrs by giving shawls, shriphal to women constables Sarita Kujur, Namita Kerketta, Smt. Phulkeria Tigga and Smt. Usha Kindo. On this occasion President of Surguja Tribal Development Authority and Premnagar MLA Mr. Khelsai Singh, Collector Ms. Iffat Ara, Superintendent of Police Mr. Ramkrishna Sahu and District Chief Executive Officer Ms. Leena Kosam and representatives, dignitaries were present.
