On the instructions of the Livestock Minister, suspension/disciplinary action against 09 veterinary officers guilty of disorder and financial irregularities at cow protection centers

Suspension/disciplinary action against 09 Chief Veterinary Officers, Veterinary Officers, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officers and Joint Directors from last May 2022 till now on the instructions of Livestock Minister Shri Dharampal Singh for gross negligence and serious financial irregularities in the care of Gaushalas in the Animal Husbandry Department. Giving this information, the Livestock Minister said that the Chief Minister has taken strict action against these officers under the policy of zero tolerance against law and order and corruption. He said that any kind of disorder would not be tolerated in the Gaushalas. No compromise will be made regarding the care of animals, fodder, water and treatment etc. Strict action will be taken if any such administrative failure and financial irregularities are found in future. Among the Veterinary Officers against whom action has been taken, Dr. Jitendra Singh Rajput Veterinary Officer Surha, District Mahoba on 30 May 2022 in various cases. If found guilty, disciplinary proceedings were ordered to be initiated. Similarly, Dr. Jaykesh Kumar Pandey, Joint Director of Standardization is involved. The Livestock Minister said that similarly, disciplinary proceedings have been instituted against Anil Kumar Kushwaha, Chief Veterinary Officer, Ayodhya by taking suspension action through June 01, 2022. Apart from this, disciplinary action was instituted against Dr. Virendra Singh, Chief Veterinary Officer Azamgarh on June 10, 2022, Dr. AK Singh, Chief Veterinary Officer, Balrampur and Dr. Surendra Kumar, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer, Balrampur through June 14, 2022. Livestock Minister said that Orders were given to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Dr. Ramdhan Tripathi, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Misrikh Sitapur, on June 14, 2022, against Dr. Seema, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Kaushambi on June 15, 2022, against Dr. Ravi Prakash Dwivedi, Veterinary Officer, Jahanaganj district, Azamgarh on June 16, 2022. . Similarly, Dr. Markandeya, Chief Veterinary Officer, Barabanki was ordered to take disciplinary action by suspending him on June 16, 2022. In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary, Livestock, Fisheries and Milk Development, Dr. Rajneesh Dubey told that cow protection centers should be strengthened and animals.
