Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today participated in the program of Dhruv Gond tribal society. In his address, he said that the government is working with a holistic view of the economic, educational and cultural development of the tribals. For economic development, we have adopted many policies to provide relief to the forest produce collectors in the tribal areas. The effect of these policies was visible to me in the meeting program of Bastar. Chief Minister Shri Baghel announced bore mining in the society’s building in the program of tribal society today. Along with this, announced the construction of kitchen shed and repair of old building and also announced water cooler so that there is no problem of drinking water in summer. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that recently I visited 12 assemblies of Bastar during the meet-and-greet program and I felt a very pleasant change in Bastar. Bastar is progressing rapidly on the path of development. During the meeting, a woman collecting mahua told that her mahua is going to England. The woman expressed her desire to know what the Englishmen are doing with Mahua, so I told them that you will also send them to England to see it. In this way a big change has been seen in Bastar, the atmosphere of peace has returned in Bastar. Due to this tourism activities in Bastar have intensified. Beautiful infrastructure of tourism is being prepared in Bastar. During my visit to Bastar, I also inaugurated some resorts. It is very pleasant to see Bastar changing like this. The Chief Minister said that we have always given representation to the tribal society. Till now the chairman of Bastar and Surguja Development Authority was the Chief Minister but we have given opportunities to the MLAs of Bastar and Surguja for this. The Chief Minister said that the government is also working fast towards the cultural development of Bastar. In Bastar we renovated 1200 Devgudis. Along with this, our government also renovated Ghotul, which was the center of tribal culture. The people of Bastar live in their god dolls, they live in their folk songs, they live in their culture. We have also done a great work in the direction of saving this culture, we have formed an organization in Asna named Badal i.e. Bastar Art Dance and Literature. Through this we are working towards saving the culture of Bastar. In this way, through the protection of cultural heritage, we can save the tribal culture. Better health infrastructure in tribal areas. We have worked for this also. During this, the Chief Minister told such innovations of the government in the interest of tribals, which has increased administrative efficiency rapidly in the tribal areas. The Chief Minister specifically mentioned two things that how Bastar is changing, the Chief Minister said that the biggest problem faced by the administrative system in tribal areas is about language. People have their own problems but due to language problem the officials do not understand it and it is difficult to solve the problems of the people. To overcome this problem, we have made arrangements for proper training of the officers in the local language. To strengthen the people financially, the forest produce collectors have got a fair price for the produce. The Chief Minister said that Bastar is changing rapidly. This can be seen from the fact that during the meeting with me, a large number of people requested me for the establishment of Swami Atmanand Schools, for the establishment of the bank. It is a strong symbol of a changing Bastar. The tremendous impact of the reforms in agriculture has been shown in Bastar. Four tractor showrooms have opened in a small city like Bijapur.
