State level construction and implementation committee meeting concluded

The meeting of the Project Construction and Implementation Committee of the Planning Department was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here today. In the meeting, two proposals of Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited and one proposal of Water Resources Department were approved. The Principal Secretary, Planning and Economic Statistics Department, Shri Gaurav Dwivedi was present in the meeting. Secretary of Water Resources Department Mr. Anbalagan P. and Secretary of Energy Department Mr. Ankit Anand gave detailed information regarding their departmental proposal. In the meeting of the Project Construction and Implementation Committee, an estimated cost of Rs 755 crore 92 lakh for the installation of flue gas desulfurization plant and denox system in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Thermal Power House, Madwa according to the parameters of environmental protection, under Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited. The proposal has been approved. Similarly, the proposal for setting up of flue gas desulfurization plant and Dinax system at Korba West Expansion Plant to achieve the parameters of environmental protection was approved after discussion at an estimated cost of about Rs 490 crore 31 lakh.
