Quick implementation of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel’s announcement

Acting swiftly on the announcement of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, a notification for the formation of “Salhewara” tehsil has been published in the Chhattisgarh Gazette today on 18 April. According to the notification, in exercise of the powers conferred in Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, it is proposed to change the boundaries of tehsils, create new tehsils and define their boundaries by the state government. Under this, in the form of change, a total of 48 grams of Patwari light number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Revenue Inspector Board Salhewara, Patwari Halka number 18 and 19 of Revenue Inspector Mandal Bakarkatta 30 grams, Therefore, 78 villages of total 10 Patwari Halke will be included in the new tehsil “Salhewara”. The boundaries of the new tehsil will be Tehsil Bodla district Kabirdham in the north, Tehsil Chhuikhadan district Rajnandgaon in the south, Tehsil Bodla district Kabirdham and Tehsil Chhuikhadan district Rajnandgaon in the east and Tehsil Birsa (Madhya Pradesh) in the west. It may be mentioned that on the expiry of 60 days from the date of publication of this notice in the Official Gazette, the proposal will be considered. Any objections or suggestions in this regard can be sent in writing to the Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Capital Complex, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar District Raipur before the end of the said period.
