Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that the Chhattisgarh which was dreamed by our forefathers, during the last three and a half years, we have worked towards making those dreams come true. Mr. Baghel said that all of us had taken a pledge to raise the value of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and give a new identity to Chhattisgarh and in just three and a half years we have been able to give a new identity to Chhattisgarh. Till three and a half years ago, Chhattisgarh was known as mines or Naxal nuisance, today Chhattisgarh is discussed about the prosperity of its villages. Chief Minister Shri Baghel was addressing the 76th convention of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj Chandkhuri Raj organized at village Tila in Raipur district today. On this occasion, he gave many gifts for the development of the area. The Chief Minister approved Rs 20 lakh for the social building of Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj. Announcing the construction of a high level bridge across Mahanadi on Tila-Hathkhoj road, he said that the estimates for this would be prepared and included in the next budget. The Chief Minister said that Champaran would be included in the Ramvan Gaman Path circuit. A plan will be made for the development of Champaran. After finding out the exact date of birth of Kaushalya Mata, Kaushalya Mata Janma Utsav will be celebrated in the coming time. In this social convention, Central President of Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj Shri Chova Ram Verma, MLA Abhanpur Shri Dhanendra Sahu, District Panchayat President Raipur Smt. Domeshwari Verma A large number of people of Manwa Kurmi community were present, including State Women’s Commission Chairperson, Smt. Kiranmayi Nayak, Chief Minister’s advisor Shri Vinod Verma. First of all, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the freedom fighters including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Swami Atmanand Maharaj, Dr. Khubchand Baghel and paid floral tributes to them. Expressing happiness, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that the organization of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj is getting stronger now. Social awareness is increasing due to everyone’s efforts. He said that from agriculture, education, medical-engineering to business or politics, people of the society have played their part in every field, and now people of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj from the creation of Chhattisgarh to the creation of new Chhattisgarh. They are serving the soil by being active in the front line. The Chief Minister said that the schemes made by the government to strengthen the farmers and villages of Chhattisgarh are being discussed all over the country today. To increase the income of farmers and tribals, the government has started the work of food processing in village-village. Approval has been given for construction of 10 thousand 500 Gauthan under Suraji Gaon Yojna. Out of these, the construction of more than 8500 Gauthans has also been completed. Out of which 6 and a half thousand Gauthans are active. Gaudhan Nyay Yojana will become the focal point of the village’s economy- Mr. Baghel said that Godhan Nyay Yojana was started by buying cow dung for Rs 2 a kg and making organic manure, but now from producing electricity, natural paint to making cow-wood. The work is being done in this plan. More than 2 lakh people are taking benefit of Godhan Nyay Yojana, about half of them are mothers and sisters. The goal of women empowerment is also being achieved through this scheme. The work of setting up oil mill, pulse mill, rice mill is also being done under this scheme. Along with service and conservation of cattle, this scheme has also provided employment to lakhs of people, along with reducing the cost of agriculture, improving the environment, increasing the income of the farmers. 32 new Atmanand Schools of Hindi medium will also be opened- The Chief Minister said that after establishing 172 schools under Swami Atmanand English Medium School Scheme, it has now been decided to start 32 Swami Atmanand Vidyalayas in Hindi medium. He informed that recently the admission number in each class of Swami Atmanand Schools has been increased from 40 to 50. With this, a large number of students will now get the benefit of this scheme. The Chief Minister said that in the last three years, we have worked to establish the foundation of development in Chhattisgarh. Now the building is starting to take shape on that foundation.
