Women’s commission gave the right to the daughter in the property

State Women’s Commission Chairperson Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak held a public hearing today at the State Women’s Commission office, located at Shastri Chowk. 5 cases were placed in the public hearing, out of which 3 cases were rejected. In a case presented in the hearing, on the advice of the Women’s Commission, the appellant’s daughter got her right in ancestral property. Due to the applicant marrying of her own free will, she was not given the right in the property. The applicant’s father was told to give him the right in the property, on the basis of which he had submitted an application to the commission. In the case, the consent letter executed by the notary between the parties was presented before the commission. Relinquishing the rights of her father’s ancestral property, the appellant agreed with the appellant by taking a check of Rs.11 lakh, cash of Rs.60 thousand and 50 grams of gold ornaments.
